  21. I know this is off topic, but I thought maybe some of you would appreciate
  22. the warning.

  24. Back in March, an AT&T telemarketer called me and offered to top MCI's
  25. deal PLUS send me a check for $100.! Naturally I took the offer.
  26. I never did receive the $100. check.
  27.  
  28. I had called them several times and each time they told me that I should
  29. be getting it soon. Friday I called them and they told me that it was all
  30. a mistake and they would not be sending me any additional money. (they did
  31. send me a check for $35.) I was told I was not a high volume long distance
  32. user and therefor did not qualify for the $100 offer.

  34. Has anyone else experienced this?
  35. I knew it sounded too good to be true.
